Richard Stone Design is a design and drafting practice based in Lismore NSW Australia.

We offer high quality building design, master planning and drafting services for commercial, industrial and public buildings, with residential projects being considered under particular circumstances. The skills set of the practice also extends to joinery & furniture design, artwork, graphics, website design, mapping, photography and presentation work to suit a variety of applications.

We have completed successful projects across the North Coast in Port Macquarie, Coffs Harbour, Grafton, Maclean, Ballina, Lismore, Kyogle, Nimbin, Byron Bay, Murwillumbah and Tweed Heads.

The hand sketch is a quick and elegant way to develop or communicate an idea. A sketch can describe broad concepts, simple experiments or present a singular, interesting solution in the design process.

The work in art piece furniture presents a creative and tactile exercise using timber with additional themes of light, shade, surface and texture. All pieces are derived from simple hand sketches and often developed or altered as work progresses. The materials are recycled, re-purposed or plantation timbers.
